Creating A Workflow For Sending Quotations

Once a quotation is ready for sending and the workflow criteria are met, the quotation must be approved before sending.

This approval can be easily obtained by clicking "Request Approval."

The respective department head will then receive an email with a link to the specific quotation and can approve it with a simple click.

Quotations that have been sent for approval will have the status "Sent for Approval." While this status is active, the quotations can still be edited.

However, sending the quotations is only possible once they have been approved by the department head.

After a quotation has been approved by the respective department head, the approval status changes to "Approved, Ready to Send."

The quotation can now be sent to the customer as usual with a simple click on "Send via Email."

In the list view for quotations, you can immediately discern which quotations are still awaiting approval and which quotations have already been sent.
